This is an ongoing process for the purpose of assisting those who seek real spiritual experience and living. It is this toward which all the mystic teachings, spiritual paths, and methods point. This work is from the Universal perspective. The "ways" stem from, are part of, and lead to the One Way.
This approach stresses that experience is fulfilled through daily living - embracing the joys, sorrows, and needs of life as a "real" human being; and that our work in earth is in completing the path of incarnation and return, remembrance - in awareness. The rest, how to do it, then becomes the means of working out the manner to do so - which must be tailored to the individual - and also to express, through each person, what is needed to do. This, "that which is needed", encompasses the needs of the world and those within it as part of oneself.
This is not dependent upon externals - other persons, situations, goals, society, organizations, "teachers", conditioning, or personal desire. Nor does it depend upon what "someone else" tells you. It is dependent upon experience; and this comes through the expansion of heart and union with That Which Exists. It reflects what is needed to do to fulfill your own life work. This process is a means to learn to live in that awareness, as part of the one body, the only being.
In order to provide for this there are various approaches and opportunities. In a more formal manner, there are "classes" and work. These are usually in Mentone, AL. They are sometimes on some Saturdays and Sundays, and sometimes other days or weekends. Sometimes there are work days. There is no charge for these ongoing classes, although appropriate contributions are required. That includes all things, including right effort.
If you are interested in "testing the waters", please send an E-mail with your request to attend, and WHY you want to. Include your full name and phone number.
If you simply would like to come for a work day, please request directions. Include your name and phone number. On those days, you may show up any time after the scheduled start. Wear clothes suitable for physical work - although that is not always done. There will be some instruction in a practice of being aware of the presence of the Divine while working. This is a yoga, not a social gathering. You will have an opportunity for individual conversation at this time. No preliminary reading is required unless specifically advised. It is an opportunity to meet and take part. For those who wish to stay for an early dinner, that may be available on some days. Please ask, and if you do take part, bring suitable food to share. Also, plan on helping both set up, prepare, and clean up food and dishes.
There is material on this site about classes. It is Classes AND Q & A about Classes. This is only one small portion of what can take place. If you want more, then you may wish to read some of the writings found through the contents page.
