The "Medicine Cabinet"
Spiritual practices are useful and appropriate only when they are, and not to be used indescriminately. They are medicines. A practice or exercise is given by someone who can determine if it is needed and how to apply it. They must be correct for the individual or group, and need to be used in the correct manner, "dosage" in the right ways, and for the appropriate length of time. For best use, they should be monitored. Using a practice without knowing IF it should be used, and how it should or may work is like taking medication randomly. This section includes some writings about the use of practices plus many practices. Because they are here does not mean you should apply them. Ask if you are drawn to one - or use your intuition and guidance. You have it, certainly. It is only a matter of if you actually clearly listen and apply it. |
